Arco del Lauro es un bed & breakfast situado en un edificio del siglo XVIII, en Trastevere – uno de los barrios con más solera y más vibrantes de Roma.
Este encantador establecimiento ha sido renovado recientemente y es cómodo y funcional – cuartos de baño ensuite, TV satélite, aire acondicionado y calefacción central. El “breakfast” lo tomaremos en uno de los cafés más famosos del barrio, que está a la vuelta de la esquina y nos ofrece conexión a internet.
Pero lo que es una gozada es encontrarnos en la parte antigua de esta histórica ciudad – sólo tenemos que cruzar el río para encontrarnos en el Campo di Fiori, la Plaza Navona, el Panteón, el Campidoglio y el Foro Romano. Cinco minutos más y estamos en el Coliseo. Si nos apetece ir de compras o comer algo, tenemos de todo a nuestro alrededor: restaurantes, bares, boutiques – y en uno de los barrios más seguros de la capital.
Trastevere fue engullida por la gran urbe, pero antiguamente era una ciudad independiente de Roma desde el momento de su creación.
Arco del Lauro es un estupendo trampolín para darnos un paseo por el pasado en esta ciudad que está en la vanguardia de la Europa del siglo XXI.

Pleasant B&B in a quiet area in Trastevere with a small office where you can make an infusion, have a sweet or a fresh yogurt. Comfortable beds Rich breakfast in a nearby cafeteria. And Danielle is a charming woman always ready to help. To repeat without a doubt.

We had a lovely family break here. The room was large, clean and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Snacks and hot drinks were always available and breakfast was in a lovely local cafe round the corner. The area is perfect for exploring Rome, interesting and full of great places to eat, and easy to walk into the centre. We would definitely return here.

Beautiful B&B within the city. Fairly close to the big tourist attractions and great access to public transportation. We walked most of the three days from the B&B north through the Jewish Ghetto. Very good little restaurants/Trattorias in close proximity.

A perfect location and a lovely room.
The voucher system for breakfast in the local cafe worked really well. Our host Daniela was delightful and really looked after us. We will certainly return.

Love Trastevere area and this was far the best accommodation there I've ever been to. Walking distance basically from any top tourist spot. Really clean, hosts were friendly. Room was not that spacious but suitable for 2. Would definitely choose this place for my next Rome visit again.

We stayed three nights at Arco del Lauro and it really is a hidden gem, tucked away in a corner of the Trastevere district but a stones throw from all the action. Better still just around the corner are some excellent local restaurants and some of the areas best sights. The rooms are simple but very clean and well presented. The arrival process was very well coordinated and professionally handled. Once settled we were left to our own devices and we felt as if we were living as locals in our own little Roman pad! Excellent.

Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!! Wir hatten ein modernes, sauberes und tolles Zimmer und die Lage in Trastevere ist perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für einen tollen Städtetrip! Das Frühstück im Café um die Ecke ist nett und typisch italienisch - die Gastgeber im B&B sind freundlich und zuvorkommend! Wir kommen gerne wieder ????

Wir hatten 7 sehr schöne Tage im B&B Arco del Lauro. Die Korrespondenz im Vorfeld hat reibungslos geklappt, Empfang war herzlich und sehr hilfsbereit. DIe Lage ist wirklich etwas besonderes, mittem im Herzen des ursprünglichen Teils Trasteveres. Das Frühstück in dem kleinen Eckcafe war super lecker. Zimmer und Bad waren sauber und vor allem für Rom sehr ruhig. Betten bequem! Wir waren sehr zufrieden und empfehlen das B&B gerne weiter.

Im günstigen Preissegment ist das Arco del Lauro sicher eine Topadresse. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Daniela war uns in allen Belangen behilflich und durch die zentrale Lage von Trastevere sind viele wichtige Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar.
Das Frühstück ist für deutsch-österreichische Verhältnisse eher als "italienisch" zu bezeichnen. Es gibt einen Bon für das Café in der nächsten Gasse. Dafür bekommt man ein Getränk seiner Wahl, 1 Croissant und Weißbrot mit Butter und Marmelade + Orangensaft. Das Café hat Charme und das servierte Frühstück ist frisch und schmeckt außergewöhnlich gut.
Wir kommen sicher wieder. :-)

I stayed 2 nights at Arco Del Lauro B&B in June 2022. I loved the location and charming neighborhood in Trastevere. The location is easy to walk to many of the nearby Italian restaurants and Rome Centre. The B&B is very charming, and once you are there, it's easy to locate having the arch as a great reference point.
My room was on the lower floor facing the street. It was nice, simple and clean. My few suggestions to the owners of Arco del Lauro, would be to add soap and nice toiletries, as opposed to the large liquid bottle of soap in the shower area. Place additional towels and have bottled water available in room.
My one complaint the last night A/C was not working and no hot water the next morning to take a shower.
I would stay again next time I come to Rome.

We stayed two nights at that cosy location. These are the points to be stressed:
- very kind and helpful host, good recommendations for our stay
- excellent location to explore Trastevere as well as the historical and archeological part of Rome
- nice neighbourhood with a good mixture of locals and tourists
- we had a lot of fun to simply stroll around
For those people not interested in huge hotels defintively a good recommendation
