It is one of the touristic highlights in South Africa, includes the Garden Route National Park, the Knysna lagoons and the cities of George, Mossel Bay, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. It can be a relaxing and romantic trip with your partner or a adventurous tour for families or groups of friends, depending on your choice. Garden Route activities and highlights

The Garden Route can offer different kind of trips that you wish for: adventurous, relaxing, romantic, but for sure interesting.  You should definitely visit Cape Agulhas, which is the most southern point of Africa, other than many believe the Cape of Good Hope, and it is the place where the Indian Sea and the Atlantic meet. You will discover many animals on this route: in Oudtshoorn are big ostrich farms, in Betty's Bay penguin colonies, you can dive in a cage with big white sharks or at the Cango Wildlife Ranch with crocodiles, go for whale watching and in the Addo Elephant Park, you can make a Safari to see the big five: elephants, lions, leopards, rhinoceros and buffalo. Along the Garden Route you will find many perfect locations for hiking, mountain biking, horse back riding, surfing, kite surfing, paragliding, skydiving and kayaking. Common activities are hiking the Table Mountain or the Kings Head and visiting the desert and Cango caves in Oudtshoorn. The highlight for adrenaline junkies is the Storm River, where you can go climbing in the trees, river tubing and jump the worlds highest bungee. Visiting olive and fruit farms are also welcome attractions.
