Na Villa dos Algodões

Na Villa dos Algodões is truly one of our most secret secretplaces, so much so that the final 30 minutes of your drive will be on dirt track through the rainforest. The location really is spectacular, surrounded by nature and right on the beach (which is so quiet, it may as well be private!). It is miles away from the usual tourist traps of Bahia and so a really unique and special experience that you can enjoy, rest assured that the area is quiet, calm, and safe.

The owner of the Pousada lives on the site and so makes sure that everything is perfect for your stay and that the surroundings and environment are respected. Everything is recycled, plastic is barely used and the wildlife is cared for as their own. If you're lucky you may even spot a sloth from the terrace, which comes with every one of the large, comfortable rooms, or the pool. 

The beach here is a luxurious paradise with clean, crystalline waters, barely touched by humans. You couldn't possibly miss out on snorkeling here, a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the beautiful marine creatures in their natural environment. Another unmissable experience is seeing the Quinta de Dom Pedro II (the first king of Brazil). His great great grandson still cares for the Quinta and runs historical tours for those interested in the history of Brazil's monarchy and architecture.
