We broke up a longer journey with a wonderful night at Casa Pacios and wished we'd had the chance to stay longer. The setting is stunning and very tranquil. The accommodation was simple and attractive with all you need for a comfortable stay - and, thanks to the thick walls - was blisfully cool against the summer heat (far more effective in fact than our expensive and air-conditioned modern hotel room in Vigo the previous day!)
The team were fantastically friendly and helpful, even recommending and calling ahead to a mechanics in a nearby town to help us with a broken tyre!
We folllowed previous reviewers' advice and had a fantastic Menu Del Dia at the nearby Esther restaurant and were driven there and back, which was amazing.
Thank you Casa Pacios and we hope to visit again.

When I arrived at Casa Pacios on my bike, I was a bit taken aback as its location was out of the centre of Triacastela, and I was worried that my wife, who was walking the Camino, would be upset by the extra walk. I was shown our apartment with a dining room and two bedrooms, each with a double bed. Casa Pacios began to grow on me. I cycled back to Triacastela and found my wife, and took her to the Esther restaurant that advertised free lifts to Casa Pacios. We were made to feel very welcome, with my wife being transported to Casa Pacios as soon as she asked for a lift. In the evening we joined another couple and given free transport to and from the Esther restaurant - we had one of our best evenings in the restaurant. The following day my wife was transported back to Triacastella straight after breakfast. I would highly recommend this secret hotel.

This is a hidden gem just off of the Camino.
We booked in advance and were collected from the sister restaurant in Triacastella.
The rooms are lovely and full of character - just our kind of thing. WiFi is free and easy to access - indeed I am submitting this review using it right now!
The travel to and from Triacastella is free and on demand. After freshening up.this evening we were whisked back into town for a lovely meal at Restaurante Esther and ferried back afterwards.
This place is in a beautiful country setting so very quiet and peaceful - offering just the kind of quiet night you need after a long hard day of walking.
100% recommended and would happily stay here again.

Estuvimos alojadas una noche como
Peregrinas ya que parabamos en Triacastela. Y que decir... Increible.

Excellent value for money

Great place, excellent value for money, very friendly. Lovely to have a swimming pool on site.
It is in the middle of the country, a 5 minute drive from the nearest town, Triacastela. Perfect for what we needed.
