The sister Riad of the Riad Ariha shares many of the same attributes. That means elegant design, authentic materials and a Zen like quality, largely thanks to the excellent decoration and layout and a great location in the Medina.
In this case, it is close by to the Medersa Ben Yousef and less then 10 minutes away from Jemaa el Fna. Again, like the Ariha, it is spotlessly clean and holds 5 large and beautifully decorated rooms (4 doubles and one suite) that combine modernity with Moroccan craftsmanship. And there’s more in common, not least the friendly atmosphere that makes a stay here feel more like visiting friends than a sterile hotel.
On offer are home cooked meals (ordered in advance) prepared with fresh ingredients from the market, free Internet access and beauty treatments, such as massages, in-house (again, advance notification required).
On a clear day fantastic views from its roof terrace of the Atlas Mountains. And that’s something not all Riads are able to boast.

Ich habe dieses Riad gefunden weil ich kleine, familiär geführte Unterkünfte grossen Hotel-Anlagen vorziehe - und wurde hier bereits vor meiner Buchung freundlich, schnell und vor allem ehrlich beraten! Da ich allein nach Marrakesch gereist bin, war für mich eine gute Betreuung unverzichtbar. Nach meinem ersten email-Kontakt mit dem Riad war ich von der richtigen Wahl überzeugt und bin - ohne Bedenken - angereist.
Wie versprochen wurde ich am Flughafen abgeholt und die letzten Meter zu Fuss zum Riad ebenfalls begleitet - dort angekommen dann von einer himmlischen Ruhe empfangen! Sofort habe ich mich wohlgefühlt, mir wurden frischer Minztee und Gebäck serviert und mein Gepäck bereits aufs Zimmer gebracht...
Während der knappen Woche, die ich im Riad Chi Chi verbringen durfte, hat es mir an rein gar nichts gefehlt - das Zimmer war sauber und wurde täglich gereinigt, das Frühstück war immer frisch und liess keine Wünsche offen - zu jeder Tages- und Abendzeit war Personal anwesend, das stets hilfebereit sämtliche Fragen beantwortete sowie unermüdlich jede Art Sonderwünsche organisierte (zum Taxistreffpunkt begleiten/Telefonate erledigen/Massagen buchen/Transfer organisieren/Handyakku aufladen etc.) - nicht einmal habe ich mich gefühlt, als käme ich gerade ungelegen oder als sei ich ein Teil ihrer "Arbeitsstelle", sondern mehr als eine Art "Familienmitglied".
Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und liess wiederum keinerlei Wünsche offen!!
Das Riad Chi Chi ist ein einzigartiger Ort des Friedens - den man mit mindestens einem weinenden Auge verlassen wird!!
