Riyad Al Moussika

Se ha dicho más de una vez que poder conocer a Giovanni – el anfitrión de Riyad Al Moussika – es motivo más que suficiente para viajar a Marrakesh. Tal es su sentido de la hospitalidad y su capacidad para relatar historias que los huéspedes creerán a pies juntillas. Claro que también hay otros estupendos motivos para visitar esta vibrante y singular ciudad – y cuando lo haga, Riyad Al Moussika será una magnífica elección como alojamiento. Independientemente de Giovanni, está el lugar en si que antaño fue residencia del pachá de Marrakesh. El Riyad ha sido reformado a fondo desde entonces, teniendo sumo respeto al estilo andaluz dentro de la modernidad de todos los accesorios. El resultado final es un alto grado de confort. Situado en la antigua medina de Marrakesh, está también a cinco minutos andando de la simbólica plaza Jemâa El Fna, por lo que su localización es de primera ya que es aquí donde todo tiene lugar. Una de las tres entradas es fácilmente accesible en coche hasta muy cerca – y está provista de aparcamiento, lo que no es corriente en un sitio tan céntrico. A un lado del jardín, está el patio tradicional marroquí con una maravillosa fuente de pared con mosaico clásico, suelo de baldosas negras y blancas de mármol y otra fuente de Carrara blanco sobre una alfombra de mosaicos marroquíes con cuatro naranjos que la rodean. El comedor, con suelo blanco y techo de cedro pintado, está decorado con cuadros modernos y ostenta una larga mesa de cedro para doce personas. Al lado, está el vestíbulo principal con sofás, cojines, alfombras y pequeñas mesas con sillas orientales. Hay incluso baños turcos en mármol blanco donde relajarse, con un masajista que atiende a los huéspedes. Podríamos seguir, pero ¿por qué no acercarse y descubrirlo personalmente?
