Imagine the scene. An area listed as a UNESCO heritage, landscapes of olive groves and century old carob trees and within this all an 18 hectare nature park housing three country houses converted into seven stylish apartments.

Each has its own character and originality, having been renovated with full respect to their ancient structures and using materials in keeping with the atmosphere of the place. That’s what you get with the Parco Cavalonga, which on top of this provides a fantastic base from which to explore this incredibly interesting area. For example, Sicily, Modica and Noto are all within touching distance. Of course, you may just wish to relax inside. Each apartment has its own separate terrace to ensure privacy and the external spaces are designed on the basis of the Sicilian “yards”.

The upshot of it all – even more privacy. Services on offer include baby sitting, drivers, hiking guides, wellness treatments and bike rentals. The nearest beach is approximately 15 minutes' drive from Cavalonga, and is dominated by the archaeological site of Kamarina.
