There’s no point in reinventing the wheel. If everything is right there’s no need to change anything. The Agriturismo Preggio is like that, you don’t need to change anything - everything is perfect as it is, if what you are looking for is a place to get away from it all.

What you get here are seventy hectares of peace and silence beautifully tucked away between Tuscany and Lake Trasimero. No roads, no cars, no nearby buildings, no highways, just nature and the stars – you get the picture. And with this being Italy the picture is very beautiful indeed.

In this case vistas of broad valleys, streams, forests, olive groves and pastures aplenty. Instead of those cars and buildings what you’ll probably see is a shepherd handling his sheep on the other side of the valley.

Even when you get to the Agriturismo Preggio there is no overcrowding to speak of– there are only three rooms to choose from, after all, each pretty much unique and with a good dose of privacy.

It’s this philosophy of the Agriturismo Preggio – the slow life movement. Slow it down, enjoy what nature has to offer in the company of likeminded people. The Preggio is also a working farm in its own right so many natural products are on offer.
