Hotel Therese

Si para mucha gente París es la ciudad perfecta, el Therese puede ser el hotel con la situación perfecta. Se encuentra en una calle tranquila de la Margen Derecha y el vecindario cercano incluye el Louvre, la Ópera, el Palais Royal y todas las tiendas que uno pueda desear. Pero no todo es cuestión de situación en el Hotel Therese. Este edificio del siglo XVIII fue totalmente restaurado hace poco recibiendo una inyección de vitalidad con su sofisticado diseño. Pero aún conserva detalles de su pasado como el techo abovedado del vestíbulo y el salón donde sirven los desayunos, la biblioteca artesonada, baños de mármol y acuarelas originales, si bien lo clásico se mezcla muy bien con lo moderno – que abunda por todas partes. Luces auto sensibles en el vestíbulo que se conectan y desconectan según sea preciso, unas habitaciones impecables que sin ser grandes son sumamente cómodas – y esa sensación de que todo es nuevo, desde las paredes empapeladas hasta la tapicería. Una excelente base desde donde explorar la ciudad.
