If you ever attempt to combine an old farmhouse in a desert like landscape (see below), cutting edge design with rustic and ethnic elements, and have the wherewithal to produce a truly different type of accommodation, then it’s a fair bet that the end result could be something like the Agroturismo + Royetes.

Historic it may be, having been constructed in the 18^th century, but the old and the new here go together hand in glove. For example, the structure retains the original stones, pavement, benches and fireplace, yet the 21^st century is well represented by a bio climactic system for saving water and electricity and contemporary interior design fusing the rustic and ethnic elements. Believe us when we say the result is pretty unusual to say the least.

It makes for something strikingly different and where do we find such a different place? In Los Monegros, itself a singular semi-desert region of Aragon, with vegetation and eco-system that reminds one the North-African steppes. Given this is Europe it is almost as almost as unique as this Agroturismo + Royetes itself.

The place itself can sleep up to eight persons in its two double beds and two sofas. Complete kitchenware, linens, towels, bathrobes and personal hygiene products. 

So prepare to come and stay on the moon and disconnect.

Please note: The whole house can only be rented out to groups when at least 50% of the group is over 25 years old (with the exception of children accompanied by parents or family).
