The Barrosse likes to think of itself as a different house in a different place. And we think that’s about right.

Located in the beautiful village of Baros, just 2 km from Jaca and the imposing Peña Oroel, the house is nothing if not sturdy, being constructed out of stone, wrought iron and wood.

Traditional materials, perhaps, yet it is all done in an innovative way. Add to this a garden, terrace, sauna, Jacuzzi, inviting fireplace and the ingredients are all in place for a delightful stay, summer or winter.

Thank goodness this lovely house was rescued from total dilapidation by Jose and Gustavo Barrosse, who not only gave their names to their new labour of love but also did the whole place up, including the six rooms, with style and panache and no end of little touches. This includes but is not limited to, the brass tap by the terrace and oval table in the dining room.

There’s also a relaxation room with a Jacuzzi and wellness treatment.
